Dr. Beth Flickinger
Dr. Beth Flickinger, PhD, RD
Dr. Flickinger received her PhD in Nutritional Sciences in 2000 from the University of Illinois and completed her RD (Registered Dietician) in 2001. Her PhD thesis research dealt with the use of novel oligosaccharides to improve colonic health indicators in dogs and human infants and toddlers. Dr. Flickinger completed a postdoctoral research appointment in Animal Sciences and obtained a joint appointment as visiting professor in the Departments of Food Science and Human Nutrition, and Animal Sciences at the University of Illinois. In 2004, Flickinger accepted a position with Procter & Gamble Pet Care Research and Development division as a Scientist in the Clinical Nutrition group. She is currently Senior Scientist with a primary research focus on obesity and obesity-related conditions in the dog and cat.
