This segment discusses the Buddhist perception of reincarnation.  Discussion includes the Six Levels of Existence (Gods, Demi-gods, Humans, Animals, Hungry Ghosts, and Hells), and how the essence flows between these levels.  Guest Pamela Nations Weissman, a holistic medicine practitioner and student of Buddhism, talks about human to animal reincarnation and how llamas (learned Buddhist teachers) can identify reincarnated persons.  She concludes the show with her own experience of a beloved pet dog who died but communicated post death via dreams to indicate a new reincarnated form.  Pamela found her deceased dog reincarnated into the form of a new puppy, which she still has to this day.
