"Cloning Around" Coming Soon!

In a previous blog, I lamented being unable to connect with BioArts CEO Lou Hawthorne--and he responded to the note! I'm delighted to announce that an upcoming show will feature "Cloning Around" as the subject.

If you've ever had questions or concerns about cloning (especially as it relates to animal friends), be sure to tune in for this fascinating interview. You'll learn about opportunities to clone YOUR special pet and have Fluffy live again--maybe for free!

Does the idea make you sit up and beg? Or raise your hackles? Join the discussion by posting comments to this blog. Who knows? you might be invited to "bite back" in a future show.

best,

June Shows

Hello Pet Peeve Fans!

This has been a crazy month for me, with other writing demands and deadlines. So I've not been able to post show topics until now.

Please check out the shows for June:

OH, BABY! Dogs & Infants (Jennifer Shryock with Dogs & Storks)
DOGGONE SAFE--Teach Your Children Well! (Jennifer Shryock)
OH, BABY! Cats & Infants (Marilyn Krieger, The Cat Coach)
CAT-ASTROPHE! Adopt-A-Cat Month (Dena Fitzgerald, of the American Humane Association)

Send me your ideas for future shows. I'd planned to do a show on the pros/cons of canine cropping and docking...but the first two guests I invited declined to speak publicly on the issue. If you know somebody willing to bark out loud about it, drop me a line.

I also invited Lou Hawthorne of BioArts to the show, to talk about his canine cloning project. After an initial response from his pr contact, there's been no further word. So IF a show happens, it likely will be without his input, sad to say. I'm sure I'll find others willing to yowl a bit about the subject regarding the good, the bad, the who-knows-what. Again, send suggestions.

best,
amy
