We had the distinction of writing and recording “Roller Palace” (Astound-A-Sound Records)
the very first disco roller skating song! Many others followed with the release of movies such as
“Skatetown USA” (which starred Maureen McCormick, Patrick Swayze and Scott Baio)
and “RollerBoogie” (starring Linda Blair), but we were the first!
The lyrics to "Roller Palace" were featured in the Scholastic Book, "Roller Fever"
by Linda Konner.

Okay, guys…. what were we thinking back then!! Why did we all wear those shirts and that hair!!
Where’s the disco ball?

“Ilusion”

I guess we were still in dance mode when we released “I Want Your Love In Me” (Epic Records).
There were so many really hot moans and gasps on this track that Epic released a dance
re-mix of this song with no singing…just the moans and gasps. As you may have guessed,
they called this version “The Orgasmix” !! ‘Ilusion performed at many of New York City’s
popular dance clubs such as Limelight, Octagon,Norma Jean’s, and Paled’s!








Well, it seems that New Jersey is the only state without a state song. The New Jersey Council on the Arts
nominated our song, "Be Proud To Be In New Jersey" to be the official State Song of New Jersey.
Here we are at the State House in Trenton, N. J., receiving a special Proclamation signed by the
Governor and the Secretary of State of New Jersey.
